Delia Duran: was recently honored with the opportunity to serve as a parent representative for Cultivating Beloved Community. She eagerly accepted this role, driven by her desire to support students, children, and parents within the community.

Delia has been a dedicated Legal Assistant at the Law Offices of Weber & Weber for nearly 15 years. After seven years in her initial role, she was promoted to Office Manager, reflecting her exceptional skills and commitment. Delia's career in law began in 1992 when she started as a receptionist. Her interest in legal work led her to take on case management responsibilities, where she developed a deep passion for communicating with clients, insurance companies, doctors' offices, and defense attorneys.

In addition to her legal career, Delia took a brief hiatus to focus on her children’s education while they attended Eagle Rock Elementary School. During this time, she worked as a yard supervisor and became actively involved in the English Learner Committee. Her role included advocating for the needs of students, providing guidance to parents, and volunteering extensively at the school. Delia's commitment to education extended to her own professional development; she enrolled in Child Development classes at Glendale Community College, with the aim of pursuing a career as a Special Education educator for children with special needs. She hopes to continue her education and make a meaningful impact in this field in the future. Ms. Duran is fluent in English and Spanish.
